What's Biodanza?
Biodanza is a technique that works with music and body expression to enhance expression, self-knowledge and the extraordinary experience of sharing our essence with others.
Biodanza is a human integration system of organic renewal, of affective re-education, and of relearning of life's original functions. Its application consists in leading vivencias through music, singing, movements and group encounter situations.
Biodanza is a method to develop our human capacities, communication skills, and relationships; including the feeling of happiness.
Biodanza was created by Rolando Toro Araneda, a Chilean poet, psychologist, psychiatrist, painter, and philosopher. Between 1968 and 1973, the development of the Biodanza theory began from the experiences carried out years before at the Psychiatric Hospital of Santiago and at the Institute of Aesthetics of the Catholic University of Chile. And yes... now, Biodanza is known and practiced worldwide!!
Biodanza is a path of transformation that touches hearts, lives and emotions and that gives us the possibility to encounter each other and reconnect.
Biodanza is my passion.
Biodanza is part of my life.
Biodanza is an invitation to be part of the change!!

My journey in Biodanza...
I started practicing Biodanza in 2010, a couple of months after the earthquake that struck Chile in February of that year. I immediately fell in love with being able to dance freely, guided by the music that penetrated to the bottom of my heart. Soon I began to notice changes in the way I perceived the world around me, and along with it transformations in myself.
Later, I entered to study Biodanza at the School of Biodanza Santiago of Chile, facilitated by Fernanda Morixe, with whom I danced and nurtured myself for four years, until I graduated as Biodanza Facilitator. And as life guided me to work with children, I continued my training with Biodanza for Children, which I have put into practice in the different schools and institutions where I have worked.
I have facilitated Biodanza mainly in Chile, New York y New Jersey; and I have been invited to give workshops in Miami and Orlando, and online in Colombia.
